The rule was that wire forms over 32" feed length had to be produced by hand or on low productivity CNCmachines with unacceptable tolerances and high costs. No longer. Our next generation Hydraulic/Pneumaticmachines feature the accuracy, repeatability and productivity that rivals our arsenal of fourslide machinery.

·   Maximum wire diameter: .375"

·  Maximum feed length: 8 feet

·  Maximum number of bends: 20

·  Maximum overall size: 3 feet x 5 feet

When it comes to Fourslide or Specialty Wire forming, no one outperforms .

Send us a print or sample and we will promptly quote on your indicated quantities.

LARGE PARTS are not a problem. We can bend steel wire up to 3/8" diameter fully automatically. We can exceed that on softer materials such as copper or aluminum. Even heavier gauges can be formed on our semi-automatic equipment.

LARGE STAMPING as wide as 2" and as thick as .125" are possible.

LONG FEED LENGTHS are not a problem. While 32" is the standard maximum feed length for most of our equipment, we have developed proprietary methods to exceed that in many cases. In addition, our latest generation European equipment is capable of a nominal feed length of 47". Longer feeds are the domain of our semi-automatic equipment.

SMALL WIRE FORMS as small as .005" diameter are easily accomplished with our small, precision four-slide machinery.

SMALL FOUR-SLIDE STAMPINGS are a mainstay of our small parts department. Tooling for four-slide stampings are frequently substantially less costly to produce than progressive dies are for conventional punch presses.

HEAT TREATING, PLATING, POWDER COATING and other post production operations are handled by our long time suppliers. We con supply your components complete, including all your heat treating and finishing requirements.

DIFFICULT PARTS Special tolerances, difficult to maintain alignments, and other special needs are met with careful, precise setups, special QUALITY ASSURANCE fixtures, and dedicated machine operators with many years on the job. Sophisticated tooling design eliminates the need for many secondary operations.

AUTOMATIC IN-LINE CHAMFERING, SWEDGING, ASSEMBLING as well as secondary operations as required

AUTOMATIC IN-LINE WELDING on a variety of shapes and materials. We resistance weld steel, brass and stainless steel, and we are also capable of inert gas resistance welding where the ultimate in strength is required.

TANGLING PROBLEMS SOLVED by bagging, wrapping, rubber banding and layer packing, thereby saving you valuable time by avoiding the problems of untangling components on your production line.

PROPER PACKAGING finishes the job, and at ClOVER we finish the job right. Correctly sized cartons, properly sealed, skidded and labeled, makes receiving and storage a snap. Special packing requirements, such as bar coding, special labeling and uniform counts per carton are not a problem-just let us know your needs.
